Ever fancied writing a book?

Have a book idea, but not sure how to self publish?

Don’t know where to start?

Started but not really progressed with it?

Need a kick up the backside to actually get round to writing it instead of just talking about it?

So who am I and why am I leading this course?

I'm Julie Creffield the plus size marathon runner turned “No Bullshit” life coach, with an absolute love of the written word. Why 26.2 hours? Why not? The feelings of fear and "oh I could never" are actually quite similar with writing books and running marathons (which are 26.2 miles in case you didn't know)...but I believe both are just about following a process and initially taking the very first step.

  • I have written and self published 8 books on Amazon in the last 4 years

  • I have 3 books in the pipeline to be published in the next 18 months

  • I have used my books to build a sales funnel which helps me fill my online coaching programmes and in person retreats

  • I have written more than 500 blog posts

  • I have written articles for hundreds of websites and magazines, and appeared on TV and radio all over the world.

  • I have inspired heaps of women to get their finger out, stop procrastinating and just get their book out their into the world.

What if writing just doesn't come easy?

Look guys, I am not the best writer in the world. My spelling and grammer is awful for a start and my editor tells me she doesn't know a single other person who writes sentances as lengthy as mine. But even with all of these imperfections, and those relentless "But it might be shit?" thoughts, I know I have REALLY important stuff I want to share in the world and because I write all of my books in my own unique voice, jammed packed with my own stories my readers know exactly what they are getting.

Like me?

Like my books!!!

 And women do.

I still have fear just like everyone else, I have just developed a “kick arse" system for overcoming it….and have tested it with my first cohort of awesome participants to check this actually works for other writers in this format…and I can confirm it is not just me that is capable of this simply quite astounding way of writing brilliant books “quick and dirty”

Want to know how quick and dirty?

I wrote and published my first ever book in 2013 in a weekend (OK so it was a little bit crappy, they have got better since then) My last book the Fat Girls Guide to Marathon Running for example I had the idea in October and by November it was in peoples hands....and 3 months later (that's the Amazon payment delay) I had a nice tidy sum in my account. In fact that book had gone to the number 1 slot in its category on Amazon before I had even committed fully to my chapter headings….just through preorders.

I have a very specific way of writing, publishing and promoting a book and it has helped:

  • Generate a good income (Probably close to £25K in book sales alone)
  • Position me as an expert in my field
  • Be a spring board for online course & retreats
  • Secure high profile TV appearances & speaking gigs
  • Share my stories and inspire thousands
  •  And now I get to show other women how easy it can be too

So what can you expect??

Yes...this is advertised as a marathon, and the bulk of the work will be done on Friday...but there will be some prep and of course some stuff to be done afterwards to finish your projects. You will have a series of videos to refer back to and I am at your disposal for the next 4 weeks.

My goal for you in terms of what you can expect to achieve by Saturday afternoon??

"How much of this you achieve is 100% up to you and your willingness to take action and throw the idea of perfection out of the window.

If nothing more it will give you an insight into how I have done it and how you might do it too, either now or in the future.

Just think, this time next month you could be well on your way to becoming a published author"

Other important information:

The marathon runs from 10am UK time, in the last cohort we had women on 5 different time zones, and this worked fine….it just means women were tired at different points of the process. You do have the opportunity to sleep. To participate you must be willing and able to use Facebook and the video conferencing technology Zoom. You will be given advice on how to publish an ebook, paperback and audio book using the Amazon platform. This programme will not cover any other publishing options.
