I'm Julie Creffield the plus size marathon runner turned “No Bullshit” life coach, with an absolute love of the written word. Why 26.2 hours? Why not? The feelings of fear and "oh I could never" are actually quite similar with writing books and running marathons (which are 26.2 miles in case you didn't know)...but I believe both are just about following a process and initially taking the very first step.
Look guys, I am not the best writer in the world. My spelling and grammer is awful for a start and my editor tells me she doesn't know a single other person who writes sentances as lengthy as mine. But even with all of these imperfections, and those relentless "But it might be shit?" thoughts, I know I have REALLY important stuff I want to share in the world and because I write all of my books in my own unique voice, jammed packed with my own stories my readers know exactly what they are getting.
Like my books!!!
And women do.
I still have fear just like everyone else, I have just developed a “kick arse" system for overcoming it….and have tested it with my first cohort of awesome participants to check this actually works for other writers in this format…and I can confirm it is not just me that is capable of this simply quite astounding way of writing brilliant books “quick and dirty”
I wrote and published my first ever book in 2013 in a weekend (OK so it was a little bit crappy, they have got better since then) My last book the Fat Girls Guide to Marathon Running for example I had the idea in October and by November it was in peoples hands....and 3 months later (that's the Amazon payment delay) I had a nice tidy sum in my account. In fact that book had gone to the number 1 slot in its category on Amazon before I had even committed fully to my chapter headings….just through preorders.
Yes...this is advertised as a marathon, and the bulk of the work will be done on Friday...but there will be some prep and of course some stuff to be done afterwards to finish your projects. You will have a series of videos to refer back to and I am at your disposal for the next 4 weeks.
My goal for you in terms of what you can expect to achieve by Saturday afternoon??
"How much of this you achieve is 100% up to you and your willingness to take action and throw the idea of perfection out of the window.
If nothing more it will give you an insight into how I have done it and how you might do it too, either now or in the future.
Just think, this time next month you could be well on your way to becoming a published author"

"Do it! It's perfect for getting clarity on ideas and an expert insight into the publishing and marketing process."
"My book was in print within 90 days. Which is pretty good going for a 80k word book".
"The day was so motivating, I felt so focused and relaxed. Julie is really friendly, approachable and above all she’s completely honest."
"It doesn't matter where you are in the life cycle of publishing a book, this course has something to teach everyone."
"It’s informative, motivating and inspirational to go through this process with a cohort"
"Do it! It's great to get focus, structure and the support knowing other fellow marathon writers are doing their thang too!!"
"It’s a great jump-start to getting the dream book out of your head and into the page"
The marathon runs from 10am UK time, in the last cohort we had women on 5 different time zones, and this worked fine….it just means women were tired at different points of the process. You do have the opportunity to sleep. To participate you must be willing and able to use Facebook and the video conferencing technology Zoom. You will be given advice on how to publish an ebook, paperback and audio book using the Amazon platform. This programme will not cover any other publishing options.
