If reading was my first love, writing is absolutely my second.

When I was 10 years old I got a set of encyclopedias for Xmas and my brothers and sisters laughed, I couldn’t have been any happier. The following year someone gave me a second-hand typewriter and I hounded my mum for weeks to replace the ribbon so I could actually use the damn thing.

I produced my first book “One of 6” aged 12…and the rest is history.

Diaries, Journals, Essays…any excuse to get my thoughts on to paper. When I came into the world of blogging in 2010 I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Hundreds of blogs and 8 books later I still haven’t lost my love for getting my thoughts down for others to read.

In this blog you will find my views on the world, what I am up to in the world of life coaching, adventuring and motivational speaking and hopefully find some useful practical advice which will help you live a bigger more exciting life.

PS. I love to get comments, likes and shares…it makes me feel like someone is actually out there, and I am not 8 years old again writing important stuff nobody ever reads.

Lessons from my recent Tedx talk

What would you talk about if you were given a platform to speak out to the world? Which one message would you want to share? Do you even have something worth sharing? Now I have always been an opinionated person. I've always had something to say....just ask my Mum. So...

Can we talk dieting and diets for a minute?

For the longest of times, I've not wanted to talk publically about what I eat. It is hard enough being judged as an overweight woman without the stress of what you put into your mouth being scrutinised too. But recently, in light of my upcoming Tedx talk about living...

How long does it take to change your life?

Change is hard. It is scary. It can make you feel vulnerable. It can often feel like the journey ahead of you to make the change you really want to make is so difficult, so complex and so overwhelming that it is easier just to stay exactly where you are. Change can...

Who are your role models and how do you use them?

I have always found myself being inspired by others. Always looked up to other people, often strong capable women, further down the line, or closer to where I want to be in life. They haven't always been super famous, or super successful...but just represent something...

The Power of Taking the First Step

Ever have a brilliant idea pop into your head that is super inspiring and exciting, and maybe even a bit scary? But you know it is something you really want to do? But then... You start playing out all of the tasks that lay ahead of you to achieve the goal, and before...

Did I ever tell you my Cucumber Story?

Find out how a price increase of my favorite vegetable taught me about my money blocks and kick-started my passion for helping other women identify their own money blocks to enable them to live a life full of excitement and adventure.

If fear isn’t the enemy, what is?

It has been a tough few weeks for me, and there are some big changes ahead. Without going into too much of the detail I have decided it is time for me to sell up and leave London. I know, shocking right? If you know me you will know I am a London girl through and...

5 reasons to hire a “no bullshit” life coach like me

Leave it, I can do it myself Mum!!! Gosh if I had a pound for every time my 5-year-old told me that, I could pack up all this work malarky and take up gardening or cake making. My daughter has been like this for as long as I can remember, putting on her own socks...
