If reading was my first love, writing is absolutely my second.

When I was 10 years old I got a set of encyclopedias for Xmas and my brothers and sisters laughed, I couldn’t have been any happier. The following year someone gave me a second-hand typewriter and I hounded my mum for weeks to replace the ribbon so I could actually use the damn thing.

I produced my first book “One of 6” aged 12…and the rest is history.

Diaries, Journals, Essays…any excuse to get my thoughts on to paper. When I came into the world of blogging in 2010 I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Hundreds of blogs and 8 books later I still haven’t lost my love for getting my thoughts down for others to read.

In this blog you will find my views on the world, what I am up to in the world of life coaching, adventuring and motivational speaking and hopefully find some useful practical advice which will help you live a bigger more exciting life.

Enjoy.

PS. I love to get comments, likes and shares…it makes me feel like someone is actually out there, and I am not 8 years old again writing important stuff nobody ever reads.

Are you guilty of submarine marketing?

You know what it's like. As a business owner, there are just soooooo many things to do. Sooooo many things to keep on top of. We have to be on 24/7 or at least thats what the social media gurus tell you....content, content, content...churn it out all day every day...

The gangs we belong to

It's taken me all day to feel up to writing this blog. And even now I still feel a little afraid to write it. Last night after a long day with a 121 client, and then supporting 100+ entrepreneurs on my latest online challenge "A grand in your hand" I got my little one...

Tribe Building Lessons from my recent trip to Frankfurt

Do you celebrate the investments you make in you?

A few years ago when I was struggling to grow my fitness business, working all the hours, fighting to monetise my successful blog...oh AND juggling being a single parent, I can remember thinking... Will I ever get a summer holiday again? I can remember journaling, and...

The Tribe Builder Class of Summer 2019

It feels funny writing that. We haven't even come to the end of term yet so to speak, but today does feel somewhat symbolic. At the start of June 14 new entrepreneurs joined my 10 week incubator programme Tribe Builder. These were all purpose driven small business...

Are you making it easy for people to underestimate you?

While meeting with a client yesterday she told me, "You are not at all what you appear like on social media" And I was like "oh no here we go", here was me thinking I am Mrs Authentic herself, showing everyone exactly who I am, warts and all. "Tell me more" I...

3 Reasons to Batch like a B***h

Ok...so I guess we should address the B word straight off. I know, I know it can sometimes be used as a derogatory word to describe women, but come on it's also simply a term for a female dog, wolf, fox, or otter....and on this occasion I'm 100% going for...
